Fantastic laptop! handles everything I throw at it with ease and its powerful without being gaudy with too many lights etc... plenty of room for expansion later on down the road which was something that was highly important to me in making a purchase decision. No bloatware beyond that which Windows 10 comes with itself.
The apps that are pre installed on there have a valid purpose!
I am very happy with this buy and am glad I took the chance on a company I'd previously never heard of ended up with a great experience overall.

Eluktronics knows their demographic and they deliver. Chances are, if you're looking at this website, you have owned high-performance laptops in the past. Chances are very good that if you are considering buying one of these, you don't want bloatware or second-rate components (especially for $1800). All I can say is that this thing is the real deal. I have owned an Alienware, Asus ROG, MSI, and Lenovo. I knew what I wanted coming into this. I picked an MSI up a couple months back and it lasted about a week after I realized that the crappy components and drivers were a recipe for disaster. I have edited video on this thing, I have maxed out AAA games on it, I can bring it into meetings and other public places without people eyeballing my computer. It's way slimmer than my ROG was. Amazing laptop!
Cons: The fans are loud when you're cranking awesome games. I'll take that and have my laptop cooled properly over some crappy aesthetic solution that doesn't work.
Besrt laptop I ever had!

This is my 5th laptop in my lifetime. All were HP products even my desktops before switching to laptops. So you ask why change now when my last one lasted over 8 years. Well there are two very huge reasons. First, is that I actually bought a new HP 17 inch and had it for 2 weeks before I could not stand using the touchpad any longer and the tech support just was not there to help through the adjustments of this new computer. So I sent it back and started my research on other brands. Finally after many hours I narrowed my search down to Eluktronics. The two main reasons were the reviews and the help I received when I was trying to build the unit to my specs. I paid a little more to receive these updated specs, but I could not be any happier. I have never owned a gaming computer, nor do I play games on the laptop. I do however use mine similar to using a desktop. I have two businesses installed, use it for editing photos, and often have many programs working simultaneously. I have only heard it run once it is so quiet and never felt any heat off of the unit even though I use it on my lap. Also, let's talk about the touchpad and keyboard. OMG, I love it! The keys respond easily and the touchpad has designated left and right buttons, as well as the tactile sensor for scrolling. That alone would have sold me on this unit, but I got everything else I wanted also which I did not with HP. Anyways, if you are looking for a replacement even if it is not for gaming and you want quality this is the laptop for you. I could not be any happier.
An Exceptional Laptop
Posted by Nick on 4th Feb 2017
I received this laptop in mid December 2016, about two and half months ago. I've used it nonstop since then, and I must say this is everything I could have hoped for.
-Beautiful screen, essentially no backlight bleed and absolutely amazing contrast. It has G-sync and 75 hz refresh rate.
-Extremely good build quality, feels solid and is made of high quality material.
-Specs perform amazing well, my laptop has the GTX 1070 graphics, 16 GB RAM, and 512GB Pro-X Performance SSD.
-Handles heat well, I have never seen it go above 75 Celsius.
-The keys are very responsive and well placed, and the back lit customization is pretty cool.
-Runs silent when not playing any games (i.e. browsing internet), and the fans are not too under load.
-Absolutely no bloatware, the only programs installed are actually useful (customizing keyboard, sound studio, Nvidia, overclocking, etc.)
-Speakers are pretty good, especially at high volumes. They are positioned well too, directly above the keyboard.
-The laptop has a sleek but powerful look, and is in no way "in your face" about being a gaming laptop - I especially appreciated that.
-With my modifications, I got this laptop for $1700 -- an amazing price given the quality and specs.
-None, not even a nitpick.
Overall, this is an exceptional laptop in every regard, even price. It benchmarks close to what GTX 1070 Desktops get.
The specs of my laptop are: Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics, 16 GB RAM, Eluktronics Pro-X Performance SSD, Intel core i7-6700HQ
To give perspective, I played the Witcher 3 on max settings (Including maxed hairworks!) and never it never dipped below the 75 FPS refresh rate.
Also, the Pro-X Performance SSD is a must, my laptop starts up in 10 seconds. I played a game called Subnautica that measures the load time before the game starts and my last computer with a 7200 rpm hard drive took almost 300 seconds to load (not a typo, 5 whole minutes). This laptop loads in under 15 seconds.
I have had no issue with my laptop so far, so I haven't experienced their customer service -- though I hear they are top notch too.
If you want a powerful gaming laptop that spares no expense, this is your laptop. I had never heard of Eluktronics before, but I decided to try anyway.
Do yourself a favor and do the same, you will not regret it.
The Future of Laptop Gaming is Real
Posted by Unknown on 31st Dec 2016
This laptop was my first time purchasing a gaming machine besides consoles and I can definitively say that my expectations have been surpassed. My main motivation for purchasing it was that it had the peripherals of a high-end gaming desktop with a comparable price tag but was still a laptop. The last part was important because I required the portability. Now every time I turn it on it feels like a trip into the future.

Very good quality. No disappointment yet.

Have had my P670RS-G for about 3 weeks now. Got it on Amazon on a pre-Black Friday sale for an amazing price (and that price has gone up $400 since then). Excellent build quality, great performance, no cooling issues, runs all my games at highest settings. Love how it comes with a printed manual, Win 10 & driver discs and I found an amazing Clevo service manual for it as well. 17" IPS panel w/G-Sync is fantastic, no bleeding or dead pixels. I recommend Eluktronics to anyone looking for a great laptop for a great price.
A real life portable VR machine
Posted by Zach on 12th Dec 2016
I've had my GTX1070-equipped P670 for about 3 weeks now, and couldn't be happier with it. It's been crushing just about every game I've thrown at it, and that includes VR titles with my Vive.
With laptops it's all about heat dissipation, and using a simple wire stand (no extra fans), I've been able to run VR for hours at a time, with temperatures never exceeding ~72 degrees C. For reference, 90 degrees C is usually when you start to get worried. The caveat, however, is that I'm in Colorado, and my room temperature is probably in the mid 60s. This might be something of a problem in the summer since few places here have air conditioning, but we'll see. I've run Onward in the gun range, and temperatures were at 53 degrees C. More intensive games like The Lab and Trials of Tatooine (graphics set to high) are where I'd see the temperatures rise to 70. While I have no numbers on the framerates, I can say that the VR was highly responsive.
Arma III will sometimes have temperature spikes up to 80 degrees C, but otherwise runs in the low 70s. In the summer, I may be forced to run the game at lower settings or find some means of external cooling, but we'll see. That's a really high end game that is horribly optimized, so I'm not surprised at this. Most games should be able to run even in summer with no problems, especially if you have an AC.
The screen is crisp and beautiful, although for games like Arma I'll often connect to my larger desktop monitor (since this thing is a beast compared to my actual desktop). The case is a nice brushed aluminum, and works well. While the size of this laptop makes it a bit difficult to lug around, I expected as much, and to me it makes the thing thing feel more secure when I throw it in my backpack. The power adapter is a brick, but that's also to be expected. When you're running a high end graphics card, you want all the power you can get. If it came with a smaller adapter, I'd be suspicious that I wasn't getting everything out of my graphics card.
The only complaints I have are incredibly minor:
1. The trackpad is a bit annoying, as it sometimes doesn't register movements, and it's sometime hard to perform small, fine-tuned movements (like highlighting a single word), but you should be using a mouse anyways.
2. The power and HDMI ports are in the back, and while this is useful for hiding wire clutter, I prefer the ease of being able to reach it from the side.
There isn't any bloatware, as Eluktronics promised. It's a simple, clean install without all kinds of useless programs bogging it down like you'd find on an MSI or whatever. It's nice not to have to immediately flash the computer to get rid of all that nonsense.
I am a Linux man at heart, so I'll be installing Ubuntu or something like it on the second SSD at some point in the future. If there are any problems with that, I'll post an updated review (for that matter, if there are any Linux fans among you, I'd say this company is very much akin to a windows version of system76, and that's a very high complement).
Anywho, if you're on the fence about this sweet machine, I'd say don't hesitate any longer. The 1070 is a beast, and this machine handles it quite well. I was a bit skeptical about any portable machine being able to run VR, and I was also a bit nervous about purchasing from a company that I hadn't heard of before, but I'm quite pleasantly surprised about its performance. Trials of Tatooine seems to be something of a benchmark for VR machines, and this machine ran it with no problems. I may post a video review to youtube to help eluktronics out, since I'm quite happy with them and want them to succeed. If I do, I'll edit in a link here. (My laptop was shipped almost immediately, and the one time I contacted customer service was to ask about Linux drivers, and the response was likewise quite speedy. This company feels like computers for computer geeks by computer geeks, and I'm for it.)
Great Gaming Laptop
Posted by Unknown on 10th Dec 2016
Using this laptop as a secondary to my desktop for when I travel for work and go to gaming events. The build quality is great, the backlit keyboard is great, the keys themselves feel solid and responsive, and it posted well with 3dMark. None of my friends had ever heard of this brand before and neither had I, but after being able to see the build quality for the price I was able to get these components at, I would definitely recommend them in the future.
So so so happy

Everyone of my friends hates me right now. This thing just tears through everything. Only downside is fan gets loud, but its a 1070, what do you expect?
