Eluktronics SSD Firmware Updates

Firmware for Eluktro & Eluktro Pro Series SSDs

SandForce enabled SSD's can be determined by capacities of 120GB, 240GB, 250GB, 480GB, 500GB or 960GB.  Silicon Motion enabled SSD's can be determined by capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB & 2TB.  It is recommended to have a backup of your files before performing firmware updates.

 

Silicon Motion Controlled SSD Firmware:

There are no required firmware updates for Silicon Motion SSD's at this time.  Please check back periodically.

 

SandForce Controlled SSD Firmware:

Important firmware release information regarding Eluktronics Eluktro & Eluktro Pro SSD's featuring SandForce controllers*. 

Download Part 1 Firmware Update Application

Download Part 2 Firmware Version 6.0.9

Firmware update Instructions:

Step 1. Please download Part 1 titled "Eluktronics Firmware Update Application"

Step 2. Please download Part 2 titled "Eluktronics Firmware Version 6.0.9"

Step 3. Open & extract Eluktronics Firmware Update Application selecting Windows or Linux depending on your operating system.

Step 4. Checkmark the Eluktronics branded part for firmware update. *IMPORTANT: Uncheck any other listed devices as this is intended strictly for Eluktronics components with a SandForce controller.*

Step 5. Click "Update Firmware"

Step 6. Locate and select the downloaded 6.0.9 firmware which was performed in step 2.  The specific file name is "Eluktro_FW_6-0-9.ffp".

Step 7. Select proceed and wait as the firmware is applied.  A green check mark will appear on the left hand side of the program once completed.

Step 8. Select "Rescan for drives" and verify Fw.Rev indication has updated to the first three numbers of "609".

Step 9. Shutdown the PC (not restart) and power on again.

Step 10. Continue to enjoy your Eluktronics SSD!
