This thing has an amazingly sharp, crisp, n clear screen. The trackpad is great also, on par with other multi-point gesture trackpads. However, when on battery, it constantly throttles. Thermal throttles the CPU at 45-50C. Power throttles at 9W. And then is almost always current throttling. The mouse would freeze on the desktop, stutters while just moving windows, and games run at 2fps. I tried ALL power modes (office, game, beast) and all Windows battery modes (saver, ... best performance). I did a complete reset of the Win10 OS. Still the same. I believe this to be their BIOS. Another issue is that the special Fn keys (volume, brightness, KB illumination, ...) don't work after you sleep the laptop. There's a BIOS setting but it doesn't stay working. Reddit confirms that Eluktronics has known about this issue for over 7 months already and they don't seem to plan on fixing it (from what I can see). Eluktronics support said that the throttling is normal for their laptops, so be aware. When you get a defective unit, they will say it's normal. 9W power throttle!! My friend has the RP-15 and the CPU pulls 45W on battery power no problem. Mine was such a hassle to use. I couldn't do anything (web browsing, browsing file explorer, ...) on battery power. I took videos of all this and gave Eluktronics access to my google drive folder, but based on their questions and responses, they never looked at them. Also they have typical support that ask questions that you've already answered in previous emails. Such a hassle. I had the 10870H, 2070S, QHD 165Hz screen. I'm returning it and they said they will charge me a restocking fee up to 15%. Another weird aspect was that the page description said 2966MHz RAM, but I received it with 3200MHz. Definitely not a complaint, but just odd.
