Recommended Tip: After the above drivers have all been installed, please ensure you're connected to the internet and run Windows update until your system states it is fully up to date.

Touchpad Firmware Update - Exclusive to the MAX-17 ONLY:

MAX-17 Touchpad Firmware

To install, please download and extract the above file to a known location.  Right click and select "Run as administrator".  The firmware will update itself.  IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT touch the touchpad while the firmware is updating.  It is highly recommended to either cycle to the option to run this firmware update via your keyboard or just use an external mouse.  Once the update is complete, please restart the system. 

Bug Fix: Two-finger scrolling.  Before the update, two fingers must be slightly separated to enable scrolling.  After the update, fingers can be directly next to each other for proper two-finger scrolling.

BIOS Update Now Available (Public Release 06/08/2023)

MAX 17 BIOS with Intel i7-9750h CPU

 

1. Format a USB flash drive using FAT32. Unzip and copy all of the contents of the BIOS files directly into the root of the USB.
2. Ensure AC adapter is plugged in.
3. Restart the system and ensure “Secure Boot” is disabled from BIOS (F2 during boot) setup menu.  Save and exit.
4. As soon as the Eluktronics boot logo re-appears, tap "F7" repeatedly to access the boot options.  Select the respective USB device.
5. You will now enter the EFI shell environment (looks kind of like command prompt).  Depending on the amount of storage drives or partitions you have internal to your Eluktronics laptop, enter the appropriate path.  Example: Type "FS0:", press enter, type "LS" to list the directory.  If you find the EFI and ROM files here, continue to the next step.  If not, try FS1: and continue until you find the path. (Commonly FS3 for most customers with a single drive).
6. Type “F.nsh” and press enter.  
7. The system now perform the BIOS update and should reboot automatically once the BIOS update completes.  Do NOT unplug the AC adapter or press the power off during this process.

 

EC Update Now Available MAX 17 ONLY (Public Release 04/05/2022)

MAX-17 EC with Intel i7-9750h CPU and 20 series GPU

 

How to perform EC update:
